Handling and transferring hazardous chemicals are operations inherently dangerous, as they often run the risk of a static spark discharge causing a catastrophic accident. During an emergency situation, such as a spill or leak, determining the susceptible areas and taking necessary action is of utmost importance, especially for the first responders on the scene. To ensure no hazardous material transfer ends in tragedy, various components must be correctly grounded and bonded - then tested, prior to the transfer of the materials.
Join our panel of experts as they discuss the latest techniques, processes, and systems they have implemented to mitigate the risks of dealing with hazardous material transfers and new ways to provide a safe working environment for those handling these products.
