Technical Trainer


Primary Purpose:  To conduct technical seminars at locations in the US and Canada on Ground Resistance Testing, Insulation Resistance Testing and Power Quality analysis. (We will train you)

Technical Trainer Essential Functions:

  • Participates in, and conducts technical training programs on Ground Resistance Testing, Power Quality Analysis, Thermal imaging and Insulation Resistance Testing. Determines training objectives.
  • Writes training programs, including outlines, text, handouts, tests, and designs laboratory exercises.
  • Conducts webinars on technical and product material.
  • Administers written and practical exams.
  • Assists in product training to sales team.
  • Makes technical presentations at applicable trade shows.
  • Publishes application notes and white papers as necessary to assist in the proper use of AEMC products.
  • Travel in the US and Canada 40 to 60%.
  • Stay informed on all product development.
  • Updates contact management database (Goldmine) for all seminar attendees.
  • Works with state agencies for CEU credit approvals.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirement:   Requires Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or electronic engineering with a strong working knowledge of computer technology with the aptitude for problem solving. Must have at least four (4) years of technical experience in application engineering and/or field sales/service work.
