AEMC® Instruments Introduces the NEW AC Current Probe Model MD361

The Model MD361 makes it easy to see what's really happening in your power system. Its rugged hook-shaped jaw provides quick access to conductors in tight spaces, while the 1 mV/A BNC output connects directly to virtually any oscilloscope — for clear, real-time current waveforms.

With a 5 Hz to 10 kHz bandwidth and (1 to 500) A continuous range the MD361 helps technicians quickly identify InRush, PWM switching, harmonics, phase imbalanace, and other power-quality issues. No batteries, no external power, and no complicated setup — just clamp, connect, and measure. Rated 600 V CAT III / 300 V CAT IV, the MD361 is built to perform in demanding industrial environments.

FEATURES

  • Unique hook-shaped jaw easily reaches tight spaces and accommodates cables up to 1.18 in. (30 mm) and bus bars up to 2.48 x 0.20 in. (63 x 5 mm)
  • 1 mV/A BNC output for direct connection to virtually any oscilloscope
  • Optional BNC-to-Banana adapter for compatibility with standard DDMs
  • Wide 5 Hz to 10 kHz bandwidth captures low-frequency VFD fundamentals and higher-order harmonics for power quality analysis
  • Measures (1 to 500) AAC continuously, with a 700 A maximum and 700 A / 10-minute overload capability
  • 600 V CAT III / 300 V CAT IV safety rating with a rugged polycarbonate housing designed for industrial environments
