AEMC® Instruments Welcomes Back AC/DC MicroProbe Models K100 and K110

The Models K100 and K110 make it possible to find low currents that traditional clamps often miss. Designed for use in tight, crowded spaces, these compact Microprobes measure currents down to 50 µA without requiring you to break the circuit or add a shunt. Whether you're tracking down a parasitic battery drain, checking a sleep-mode circuit, or measuring a 4 to 20 mA current loop, simply clamp onto the conductor and view the current on a DMM, oscilloscope, or recording device. With AC/DC measurement and no need to switch ranges or modes, the K100 and K110 provide a simple way to uncover currents that might otherwise go undetected.

FEATURES

  • Measures both AC and DC currents simultaneously with no mode switching required — output signal is proportional to total current (AC + DC)
  • Measures from 0 up to 3 AAC / ± 4 ADC (Model K100) or 300 mADC (Model K110), with typical resolution down to 100 µA (Model K100) and 50 µA (Model K110) — ideal for detecting leakage, standby, and control currents
  • High output signal of 1 mV/mA (Model K100) or 10 mV/mA (Model K110) with low output noise for clean, accurate display of low-amplitude waveforms on oscilloscopes and DMMs
  • Jaw opening of just 0.18 in (4.5 mm) allows measurement on fine wires and component leads not accessible by any other clamp-type probe
  • Red LED overload indicator and green LED battery/power status; 9 V battery with 20-hour life; simple plug-in operation with no range or mode switching
